With
four different angles and various backgrounds, the 2014 Chevrolet
Silverado can be pictured with everything from a work truck’s 17-inch
steel wheels to the chrome 20-inch wheels you’ll find on higher-trim
models. The 2014 Silverado configurator also gives us a preview of the
truck’s 10 exterior colors as well as a glance at all five body styles:
regular cab (with a standard or long box), extended cab (with a standard
box), and crew cab (with a short and standard box).Trims shown on the preliminary 2014 Silverado configurator include two work truck levels of equipment, with LT, LTZ, and LT/LTZ with the Z71 suspension. For fleet customers, the 2014 Silverado Work Truck comes with the expected standard equipment, including a 4.3-liter V-6 mated to a six-speed automatic (2013 Silverado with 4.3-liter V-6 had a four-speed automatic), black exterior accents, rear bumper with CornerSteps, a 40/20/40 vinyl bench seat, vinyl floor covering, a basic 3.5-inch info screen for the driver, power locks, AM/FM radio, cruise control, and a locking tailgate handle.
Most
people who walk into a Chevrolet dealership will start their search at a
model like the 2014 Silverado LT, which has a cloth bench seat,
leather-wrapped steering wheel, 4.2-inch info screen, 17-inch alloy
wheels, satellite radio, rear wheelhouse liners, and an EZ Lift &
Lower tailgate. The 2014 Silverado LTZ comes standard with the 5.3-liter
V-8 engine and also adds chrome accents, projector headlights, and
leather seats.
