Let´s talk about Cars: Der neue Nissan Leaf (2016)

Was interessiert euch brennend? Raus mit der Sprache, ich werde versuchen alle Fragen zu beantworten.

Nissan Micra losing 4-cylinder engine

The Japanese based automaker Nissan will drop the four-cylinder engine on the Micra in Australia for the 2013 model year.

According to the car manufacturer, all versions of the Nissan Micra in Australia, in the 2013 model year, will be powered by the 1.2 liter three-cylinder petrol engine, producing a total output of 56 kW and 100 Nm of torque. The loss in power will also mean an improved fuel consumption and, when equipped with the five-speed automatic transmission, the Micra will burn just 5.9 liters of fuel every 100 km, compared to the 6.5 liter / 100 km with the 1.5 liter engine.
With the four-speed automatic transmission, the fuel consumption in the new 1.2 liter 2013 Micra will stay at 6.5 liters / 100 km. Despite the four-cylinder unit has been dropped from the 2013 lineup in the Micra, Nissan isn’t cutting the price of the model in Australia and, in fact, the pricing will remain unchanged for the 2013 model year.
2013 Nissan Micra ST Manual – AUD13,490
Micra ST Automatic – AUD14,990
Micra ST-L Manual – AUD15,490
Micra ST-L Automatic – AUD16,990
Micra Ti Manual – AUD17,490
Micra Ti Automatic – AUD18,990

2013 Nissan GT-R: Even More Power, Updated Face, More Standard Equipment

If there was a production car we felt was short on horsepower, the Nissan GT-R was not it. Even so, the company’s engineers have managed to coax yet more power from the GT-R’s engine, in addition to adding more standard equipment and updating the car’s appearance.
The big news is that the twin-turbo, 3.8-liter V-6 engine now produces 545 hp and 463 lb-ft of torque, up from 530 hp and 448 lb-ft for 2012. The power gain is courtesy of a more efficient intake and exhaust, and a larger intake duct for the intercooler. In addition, a revised shift fork and, firmer flywheel bearings, and motorsports-specification differential oil help make the dual-clutch transmission smoother and quieter.
The 2013 GT-R also is marginally more aerodynamic than the 2012 model, thanks to a new front fascia that cuts the coefficient of drag from 0.27 to 0.26. Black Edition models wear a new handmade carbon-fiber rear spoiler. Inside, the tachometer receives new blue accent lighting. Nissan says that the car’s suspension has been mildly retuned.
In addition, navigation, a backup camera, and Bluetooth connectivity become standard for the new model year. There is one small disappointment: Japanese-spec Nissan GT-Rs can be specified with a new “Track Pack”, which deletes the rear seat and includes two lightweight bucket seats, stiffer suspension, and lighter wheels. That option package won’t be coming to the American market.
The 2013 Nissan GT-R reaches showrooms in January 2012. Expect pricing figures to be announced closer to the launch date.

Nissan Sunny Sedan to arrive a month early in November: An ICB Exclusive!

We’ve just learnt from our reliable sources that the hotly anticipated mass market product from Nissan, the Sunny C-Segment Sedan, will arrive in November this year. Previously, the Nissan Sunny was said to arrive in December 2011, but now, we’ve learnt that the launch will happen a month earlier in November.
The car will not be a Swift Dzire/Etios Sedan/Tata Manza competitor but will actually sit a noth higher to take on the likes of the Honda City, the new Ford Fiesta Sedan and the Hyundai Verna Fluidic.  We hope that Nissan India prices this sedan competitively as the competition in the C-segment sedan has got very intense with Honda dropping prices on the All New Honda City and the Hyundai Verna Fluidic offering an impressive array of features.

The Nissan Sunny Sedan is expected to featured both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine might be the 1.5 Liter HR15DE engine producing 108 Bhp of peak power and 148 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes with dual injectors to make for better fuel economy and responsiveness.

The diesel engine that the Sunny Sedan is expected to feature is most likely the 1.5 Liter DCi common rail turbo diesel engine, tuned to produce either 85 Bhp or 105 Bhp.  This engine, which is very well known for it;s ultra responsive nature and high fuel economy could be Nissan’s biggest trump card as the Indian car market is rapidly gravitating towards diesel engined cars.

Meanwhile, the Nissan Sunny Sedan comes decently speced in countries like China and the USA. Features like rear AC vents and capacious interiors with a comfortable rear seat is what the Nissan Sunny Sedan brings to the table. In markets abroad, Nissan offers the Sunny Sedan with a CVT transmission. For the Indian market, the Nissan Sunny Sedan could be rebadged as the Almera.

Nissan 370Z GT Edition tailored for European market

Nissan has given its 370Z Coupe a makeover for the European market. Citing the higher average speeds offered in Europe - most notably Germany - and the wide variety of road surfaces that range from super smooth to badly pitted as reasons for the changes, the new 370Z GT Edition sports revised chassis settings and suspension modifications that are designed to improve the handling and ride comfort of the sixth-generation of Nissan's Z-car line.

Nissan says the fine-tuning of the 370Z's Front-Midship (FM) rear drive chassis centers on the dampers that have been recalibrated to enhance ride comfort and high-speed handling. With the aim of improving body and wheel control on undulating country roads, the rebound and compression rations of the GT Edition's front and rear dampers have been revised to enhance the wheel's vertical movement at mid and high speeds.
Nissan says this results in improved wheel control that is reflected in a flatter ride on all surfaces, while reducing "bobbing" at higher speeds on the freeway. Additionally, thanks to a stiffer chassis that provides better "bump thump" absorption, Nissan says the increase in damping force hasn't led to a degradation in comfort.
Other changes see the addition of a rear-view parking camera as part of the Nissan Premium Connect satellite navigation option and the standard fitment of a tire pressure monitoring system. The seven-speed automatic option now includes a snow mode, which sets the vehicle off in second gear and controls engine revs to prevent spin on ice and snow.
The GT Edition sports the same 3.7-liter V6 engine delivering 328 ps (323 hp) and 363 Nm of torque found in the original 370Z. The engine is coupled to a short throw six-speed sports manual gearbox or a seven-speed paddle shift automatic.
The Nissan 370Z GT Edition is available in metallic black, pearl white and a GT Edition exclusive Black Rose, with grey "GT" stripes running along the flanks of the car. The vehicle's 19 inch RAYS forged alloy wheel are finished in an anthracite color.
But the really good news for European buyers is that Nissan is selling the GT Edition for less than the standard Coupe, with prices starting at GBP35,000 (approx. US$57,700) when it becomes available from select Nissan dealers in the U.K. on June 1.
